| Porcelain production and later use came to fruition in the late 1980s from Italian manufacturers. This product offers a re-creation of natural material that will, after the technical process, be both functional and durable. This is something that the biological products could not offer as guaranteed characteristics i.e. bending strength, water absorption, shock resistance etc. Formats vary from 100x100 to 1200x1200mm with finishes such as honed, polished and anti-slip (structured, stud). Wear resistance is excellent and the 'through body colour' means that even minor wear remains unnoticed. Typical installations would be predominantly commercial buildings e.g. airports, offices, shopping centres etc. |
